Abstract

PhenethyIthiocarbamic acid O- [4-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxy-phenol)-1-methylbutyl] ester (3) was designed, synthesized and evaluated as a vanilloid receptor antagonist. Compound 3 did not show an antagonist activity up to 30 μ M concentration in 45Ca2+-influx assay.
